Pumpkin Custard

The Pumpkin Custard at Somerset.

This is the sole reason why I followed the folks of the former Noe Valley (SF) restaurant Miss Millie’s to their new digs in the Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland.

Rich, milky and sweet, with chunks of fresh pumpkin bread floating in the middle… even people who are not fans of pumpkin love this custard. It’s almost always found on their brunch menu, and occasionally on the dessert menu, so take that into consideration when making your visit.
